Modern Building Concepts Inc. was founded by Jason and Rian Van Roekel in 2010. It is a family owned and operated business in Fort Myers, Florida. Originally from Iowa, Jason relocated to Southwest Florida where he met his wife Rian. As they began their family, he continued to expand his knowledge of construction, contracting and interior design.
Constantly raising the bar and exceeding the client’s expectations is always the end goal and has allowed Modern Building Concepts to consistently deliver quality services and products to our clients. Here at Modern Building Concepts we understand the importance of having a strong safety culture.
The safety of our subcontractors and the safety of our employees is just as important to us as our own families. We are committed to educating ourselves in the best construction safety practices according to OSHA regulations & Associated General Contractors of America guidelines. We work in conjunction with our risk consultant and insurance carrier partners to develop, administer and improve our safety training and loss control programs.
Before every project commences, Modern Building Concepts establishes job-specific safety practices through "toolbox meetings" for it's employees and subcontractors alike. This helps serve as a constant reminder for our employees and partners to be aware of their surroundings. Upon initial offer of employment all of our employees are provided a copy of our safety manual which they are encouraged to study. Throughout the calendar year our company undergoes mock OSHA inspections, loss control inspections and fleet inspections courtesy of our outside risk consultants in an effort to consistently prevent accidents from happening.
